From October 27 to 31, the second regional training within the AGREE - Action for Girls’ Rights to Equality and Empowerment project was held in Tuzla. The project is supported by the European Union through the IPA III programme.
Throughout the training, participants had the opportunity to learn, exchange experiences, and explore the topic of peer education, discovering how young people can recognize their influence and become drivers of positive change in their communities. A special focus was placed on promoting girls’ rights and equality as an essential part of building a fairer and more inclusive society.
The program took place in an atmosphere of cooperation, support, and solidarity, creating space for dialogue, learning, and mutual empowerment.
The AGREE project continues to implement activities aimed at strengthening local civil society organisations and young people from the region (in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Turkey, and Romania), to assist young people – especially girls in encouraging solidarity, and joint action in the fight for equality and prevention of gender-based violence.
This project is co-financed bz the European Union. The contents of this piece of news are the sole responsibility of POMOĆ DECI and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
