The project aims at strengthening the role of local Roma NGOs in community development through initiation of partnerships between local NGOs, schools, youth activists, local authorities in five municipalities of South Serbia and factories for recycling PET and aluminium materials.
CYSO organized a presentation of the programme “ I Am Not for Sale” in the City Hall of Vranje. The programme will be implemented in Vranje, Vladicin Han, Surdulica, Bujanovac and Presevo.
The programme dedicated to improving education of Roma in south Serbia was implemented in six municipalities: Bujanovac, Vranje, Presevo, Vladicin Han, Vlasotince and Surdulica.
Cilj obuke je da pomogne stvaranju efikasnih vaspitno/obrazovnih timova vaspitača/učitelja i asistenata za kvalitetan obuhvat marginalizovane dece i njihovo duže zadržavanje u obrazovanju, za postizanje veće osetljivosti vaspitača/učitelja u radu sa romskom decom i kvalitetno uvođenje asistenata u obrazovni sistem.
The programme “Integration and Empowerment of Minority Children and Youth in Albania and Serbia” is funded by the EU programme EIDHR ( European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights) and by CCF Kinderhilfswerk, a German NGO. It is being implemented in the following Serbian towns: Subotica, Ada, Sombor and Novi Sad.
The part of the programme in Serbia is oriented towards capacity building of which deal with ethnic and minority rights in south Serbia. This broad goal is achieved through workshops, training and seminars focusing on the topics ranging from the establishment and management of NGOs to needs assessments in the local communities.
The goal of this programme is to teach and train young people, who are refugees and IDPs living in Belgrade and Smederevo, to use computers and internet for education and business purposes. Special attention is paid to internet safety and prevention of internet related abuse and fraud. This programme is funded by the Dutch Embassy in Belgrade.
