Support for children in flooded areas of Serbia
Flood waves that have struck Serbia several times since May of 2014 have destroyed all of many people’s assets. And many of them don’t have steady jobs because their work places have never been reopened.
We can’t let children and their education suffer under these circumstances. Hence we’ve launched a fund-raising project to pay for school meals, textbooks, clothes and footwear, as well as for awarding most vulnerable of these children’s a full stipend.

Give refugee children in Serbia hope for education
Close to one thousand school age children from refugee and displaced families live currently in Serbia. According to the statistics, only thirty percent of them enrols into high-school. The rest have to make their way to money, doing what they can alongside their parents since as early as primary school age. The vicious circle of poverty can only be broken if these children manage to acquire primary and secondary education. Help us support them!

Let's Help Syrian Refugee Children in Serbia Now!
More than 500.000 refugees, mainly from Syria, entered Serbia during 2015. Every day about 5 000 people fleeing from Asia have been crossing the border. Among them, there are more than a thousand children at any given time. Having in mind difficult situation they have been through and winter days, Pomoć deci has launched this project for urgent help especially to these children and their families. Much more is needed every day, so any donation to our project “Let's Help Syrian Refugee Children in Serbia Now!” is welcome to help Pomoć deci help more people in need.
We have provided sleeping bags, tents, first aid kits, and have organized volunteer psycho/social assistance to the children and their families. Pomoć deci has provided also winter jackets, warm shoes and hygiene items for children and small toys from Syria as the cold days started. But it is not enough!
